Our most experienced craftsperson took up making necklaces, etc. for friends and family because being a literary agent, published author Lucienne Diver's Homepage and mother didn't keep her busy enough.

Her retired mother took up the craft under protest when her husband (the alleged webmaster) bought her beading kits and tools for Christmas after we moved to Florida. She often compliments a friend on their great necklace before realizing it is one of hers.

Some suspect that using up bead and supplies is just to provide cover for their shopping habit. Seriously, the three of us enjoy shopping for beads everywhere we go. Great beads are key to great jewelry.
